Nick Saban told ESPN’s Chris Low that Bryce Young is a ‘game-time decision’ for Saturday’s matchup against Texas A&M, but Alabama fans want to see the reigning Heisman winner rest.
In a recent YouTube poll for Touchdown Alabama Magazine, over 4,000 fans voted on whether Jalen Milroe should start over Young. Seventy-eight percent of Tide fans want Milroe to have the opportunity.
They have confidence in the second-year quarterback’s ability to lead the team against the Aggies. Milroe replaced Young in the second quarter versus Arkansas and made some huge plays — including a 77-yard run in the fourth quarter.
He finished the game with two touchdowns in a 49-26 victory for the Tide.
