It has been thirteen days since Tua Tagovailoa suffered a scary concussion in the Dolphins’ matchup against the Bengals.

According to NFL insiders Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, Tagovailoa returned Wednesday to practice for Miami.

He is practicing on a limited basis, despite being able to throw. Tagovailoa is progressing through the concussion protocol, but he may not play in  Sunday’s game versus the Minnesota Vikings on FOX. He may be cleared by the medical staff, but he’s not in football shape yet.

Per Rapoport, Tagovailoa has been in meetings but not fully involved. He’s been doing little conditioning, but the third-year quarterback is not ready to return to the field. He has seen four specialists since the injury and is working through some rehab.

Tagovailoa was in the top five among quarterbacks in the National Football League in several categories before the injury.
