It does not matter if one loves or hates Alabama football, the Crimson Tide is the needle of college football.
According to a press release from CBS Sports, the Alabama-Tennessee game brought the network its most-watched game in the rivalry with 11.557 million viewers. The matchup from last week at Neyland Stadium peaked with nearly 17 million viewers and became the most-watched regular-season matchup on CBS in three years. Alabama’s meeting with LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2019 held the mark with 16.712 million viewers. People enjoy watching the Tide whether it is in winning or losing.

Alabama can still win the SEC West, an SEC Championship, and get to the College Football Playoff if its wins out the remainder of its schedule. It faces Mississippi State at Tuscaloosa on Saturday for a rivalry game (Battle of Highway 82) and homecoming.
