Alabama football is down a field goal kicker on special teams.

Jack Martin, a native of Dothan, Ala., announced via Twitter on Monday that he’s in the NCAA transfer portal. He has two years of eligibility left and will graduate with his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in December.

Martin transferred to Alabama in 2021 after excelling at Troy University. He made one field goal in 2021 and executed five kickoffs, including three touchbacks, in four games. The 6-foot-2, 207-pounder has had five kickoffs in two games this season; however, Martin has yet to attempt a field goal. He won a Southeastern Conference title with the Crimson Tide last year.
