Oddly enough the one person who publicly didn’t take kindly to the narrative of Alabama and Nick Saban’s demise this week was Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin.
Kiffin, who is set to kickoff against the Crimson Tide at 2:30 p.m. today, has spoken out against ESPN’s Paul Finebaum who was a significant critic of Saban’s work this season and the production of the team. The Rebels head coach accused Finebaum of giving Saban and Alabama “GOAT Fuel” ahead of the team’s matchup.
During the Paul Finebaum Show on Friday, Kiffin appeared and a discussion of the radio host’s comments came up.
Kiffin jokingly said that he shared the article containing Finebaum’s quotes with Saban and his wife Miss Terry in an effort to turn them both against him.

“I sent it to him and I knew he wouldn’t respond,” Kiffin said. “I sent it to him and Miss Terry. Trying to turn everybody on you.”
Even the day before the game Kiffin’s antics remains a constant.
