A former Alabama is on the move for a new home in the National Football League.

Lester Cotton, a Tuscaloosa native, got cut by the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday per a report from Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network. He was signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent after the 2019 NFL Draft. Cotton has spent five seasons with the team, despite getting cut and having to return to the practice squad.

He was a high-prized recruit in the 2015 class from Central High School and chose the Crimson Tide.

Cotton assisted Alabama to three Southeastern Conference Championships (2015-16, 2018) and two College Football Playoff National Championships (2015 and 2017) as an offensive guard.
