Alabama football can close this year and open 2023 with confidence if it defeats Kansas State.

Caesars Superdome is filled with Wildcats fans hoping their team can pull out an upset victory. Coach Nick Saban told reporters throughout the week that Allstate Sugar Bowl has been enjoyable for him and the Crimson Tide. Several young players for Alabama have an opportunity to shine on a big stage. The Tide and Wildcats will kick off at 11 a.m. CT via ESPN.

Marquee pregame notes for Alabama are below.

-Tyler Booker, a freshman, is starting at left guard. He has excelled all season at both guard positions, but Javion Cohen’s departure via the NCAA transfer portal allows the former five-star a starting opportunity.
