Alabama’s draft-eligible juniors to make decisions to turn pro

Alabama football ended 2022 and opened 2023 with an Allstate Sugar Bowl victory.

After defeating Kansas State, a few draft-eligible juniors have decisions to make.

On Monday, names such as Bryce Young, Will Anderson Jr., Jahmyr Gibbs, Brian Branch, and Eli Ricks will speak to reporters and unveil their choice to declare for the NFL Draft or returrn to school for next season. Malachi Moore (defensive back) and Jermaine Burton (wide receiver) shared with the media at Caesars Superdome that they are returning to the Crimson Tide.

Young and Anderson are projeced in the top five for April’s draft. Branch’s stock increased during his Sugar Bowl performance, and Gibbs was consistent throughout 2022. Ricks earned a starting job at cornerback in the middle of last season. He played well against Mississippi State and finished with 13 tackles and four pass breakups. Ricks would benefit from another year in school.
