Alabama veteran DL Byron Young declares for NFL Draft

Alabama now has its third senior to announce its NFL Draft decision.

Byron Young, a veteran defensive lineman, is heading to the draft. He made the announcement Thursday via Instagram, joining Jordan Battle and Henry To’oto’o. Young, a native Mississippian, was the most consistent lineman all season for the Crimson Tide up front. He finished 2022 with 48 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, two pass breakups, and six quarterback pressures.

Young has accepted his invitation to compete in the Senior Bowl on Feb. 4 in Mobile, Ala.
