The Chicago Bears have won the No. 1 overall pick for the NFL Draft.
After a victory for the Houston Texans and a loss for the Bears, Chicago has a chance to change the trajectory of its franchise with the first selection of the draft. Does it mean the Bears will take a quarterback? It could as several marquee prospects at the position are entering April’s draft. Bryce Young, Alabama’s starting quarterback for 2021 and 2022, is arguably the top signal-caller in this year’s class. He finished his career ranked second all-time in school history for passing yards and passing touchdowns.

Young became the Crimson Tide’s first Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback in 2021.
The 6-foot, 194-pounder has the accuracy, timing, ball placement, footwork, creativity, vision, and ability to make throws off-script that will translate to the next level. Chicago has a young quarterback (Justin Fields), but is it enough to have the Bears not look at a quarterback in the draft? Chicago concluded the year at 3-14. It will be interesting to see if they look at Young as the answer.
