Na’eem Offord earned an offer from Alabama football Saturday during his visit to UA for Junior Day.
Offord is a sophomore at Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He currently holds 12 D1 offers.
Alabama’s cornerbacks coach Travaris Robinson informed Offord of his offer from the Crimson Tide.
“I found out when he told me to come upstairs and told me I am about to get some good news,” said Offord. “I already knew what time it was. My first thought was I earned it, but I got to work even harder to show them why they offer me. I have been up there a couple of times where I camped, visited and met coaches. It is a great program, great school, and I will love to be back.”
Austin Peay was the first program to offer Offord in 2021. He has picked up offers from Tennessee, Mississippi State and others since then. The Parker product credits his Knowledge, speed and character for his continued growth as a football player and D1 prospect.
Offord said Alabama put an offer on the table because of his many strengths.
“I am a smart, fast and physical player,” said Offord
At 6-foot-2 and 178 pounds, Offord lined up at wide receiver and defensive back for Parker during the 2022 football season. He is expected to be listed as an athlete on most recruiting sites in the future because of his versatility.
