Tua Tagovailoa’s future with the Miami Dolphins is not in question for next season, despite injuries.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports — citing sources — that Tagovailoa is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Dolphins.

He endured multiple injuries, including concussions, in 2022 but produced a breakout year.

Tagovailoa recorded 3,548 passing yards and 25 passing touchdowns. He assisted the Dolphins to a 9-8 record and a berth in the National Football League playoffs for the first time since 2016. Tagovailoa is tied for eighth in the league among quarterbacks for passing touchdowns, third for quarterback rating (68.6), and first for passer rating (105.5). As a former Alabama signal-caller, Tagovailoa could return for postseason action if the Dolphins defeat the Bills in Sunday’s AFC wild-card playoff game.

He has enjoyed success in his third year in the pros. Hopefully, Tagovailoa can play in the next round of the playoffs.
