Derrick Henry explained why he feels Alabama is still the king of the SEC after Georgia won back-to-back National Championships during a recent appearance on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast.
The topic of Georgia being the new king of the SEC was brought up and Henry responded by giving the Bulldogs their props, but he made it clear he felt Alabama was still at the top of the mountain.
“I’m saying we have sustained that standard for 10 years,” said Henry. “For the last two years, they’ve been outstanding…I just think when somebody is on top and been on top for so long, they can’t wait for somebody to just come in and just take over. But Alabama is not going nowhere. I’m sorry to say. We just had the number one recruiting class this year.“
