Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. is well on his way to making a name for himself as his offer list continues to grow.
Kirkpatrick attends Gadsden City High School in Gadsden, Alabama. He holds 10 D1 offers, including offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech and Tennessee.
The 2024 recruit said he feels the attention he is receiving on the recruiting front is a result of the work he has put in.
“Starting to feel like some of my hard work is paying off, but it is still more work to be done,” said Kirkpatrick.
Dre Kirkpatrick Sr. was a five-star recruit before playing at the University of Alabama and in the NFL. Kirkpatrick Jr. looks to be well on his way to playing college football at a high level as well with the teams showing a lot of interest in him.
“Missouri, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Troy and a lot more,” Kirkpatrick said when asked which schools are showing him the most love at the moment.
Georgia Tech will host Kirkpatrick this weekend for an unofficial visit. The Yellowjackets have built a good relationship with the Alabama product.
“I have a good relationship with their coaches,” said Kirkpatrick. “I can see myself playing early if I was to go.”
At 6-foot and 190 pounds, Kirkpatrick was a defensive playmaker for Gadsden City during the 2022 football season. He always seemed to find a way to come up with the football while lined up at safety.
The Alabama legacy wants to improve on his speed in the near future.
