Nick Saban is known for his intensity, so it’s not a shock for him to let out a few expletives to players, coaches, and referees.

As the head coach of Alabama football, the 71-year-old wants to win. He is about winning championships and excelling at the highest level. However, it is funny to hear people who have once been around him discuss his mannerisms. John Bartlett, a former equipment manager for the Tide, was on the Raw Room podcast. He talked about the time he got cussed out by Saban.

“I got cussed out by him way bad for nothing,” Bartlett said. “It was for absolutely nothing.”

After he was asked about if Saban’s a good cusser, the conversation turned comical for Bartlett.

“Oh yeah,” he said. “Saban will dog-cuss anybody. Nine years old, 16 years old, it does not matter. You are going to get cussed out. I did not like making eye contact with him. In the hallways, I would not catch his. I would just walk by him.”

Saban gets on everyone hard, but that is what makes him the winner he is.
