Justin's Recruiting Bites|Recruit Rankings
St. James’ junior Ziggy Holloway possesses the tools college football coaches are looking for, and his recruitment is gaining traction as a result.
Holloway is a long and rangy prospect with elite ball skills. He can go up and attack the ball at its highest point, and the 2024 recruit is great at using his recovery skills to break up potential catches.
Marshall, Georgia State and North Alabama have put Holloway’s recruitment in motion. Each offer is a blessing to the sophomore, but he wants more to his name.
“It feels good,” Holloway said. “I know where I am at, and I know what I need to do to keep getting better.”
Each of Holloway’s offers are to play defensive back. At 6-foot and 165 pounds, he is looking to add some weight to his frame and improve his technique as a cornerback.
“I am pushing to have a bigger frame and be more efficient as a defensive player,” Holloway said.
A few other programs are showing interest in the St. James product, which points to his recruitment having the potential to grow in the future.
“Troy, Auburn, Mississippi State, UAB and Memphis have been in contact,” said Holloway.
Auburn is a school Holloway has enjoyed watching his whole life. An offer from them would be big for him, but he will still keep his options open.
“I love Auburn,” Holloway said. “I have been a fan my whole life. but I feel like being recruited has changed my mind about a dream school.”
