Alabama head coach Nick Saban has a new offensive coordinator.
After two seasons with Bill O’Brien, Tommy Rees will be calling the plays for the Crimson Tide’s offense. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported the news. Rees, 30, spent six years (2017-22) at Notre Dame as its offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

As a former quarterback (2010-13) for the Fighting Irish, Rees looks to bring innovative ideas to Alabama.

He will have an opportunity to work with a plethora of talent, including Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson.
Rees becomes the sixth different offensive coordinator for the Tide since 2016.
