Alabama football is expected to hire Tommy Rees as its offensive coordinator, and the Crimson Tide’s 2024 five-Star quarterback commit, Julian Sayin is excited about the hire.
The Alabama commit had a relationship with Rees before he committed to Alabama. Rees was recruiting Sayin for Notre Dame, and the pair connected when Sayin visited South Bend last April.

Sayin believes in Rees’ ability to run an offense.
“I think he is a great offensive mind, and I liked him when he was recruiting at Notre Dame,” Sayin told Touchdown Alabama.
Ohio State offered Sayin last month, creating buzz about the Buckeyes attempting to make a push to flip him. Sayin quickly confirmed he was still rolling with Alabama.
“I am extremely solid,” Sayin said. “Nothing but Roll Tide over here. Contact with them has been good, really enjoying the staff over there.”
