Trinity Presbyterian freshman RB Ja’Michael Jones becoming national recruit

Trinity Presbyterian School’s running back, Ja’Michael Jones’ offer list is starting to resemble the list of some of the nation’s top prospects, and he is only a freshman.

Jones currently holds 11 D1 offers, including offers from Auburn, Georgia, USC and Texas A&M after an impressive freshman campaign. The 2026 product is grateful for the opportunities he has, but he knows he must continue to work to obtain his goals.

“It feels good,” Jones told Touchdown Alabama. “I also have that feeling that I have potential. All I have to do is work harder and stay focused.”

The defending back-to-back National Champion Georgia Bulldogs offered Jones last month. The Montgomery, Alabama product feels his offer from Georgia was proof he has the potential to play with the best at a very high level in the future.

“It shows I have what it takes to play at a high SEC level and the trust they have in me,” said Jones.

At 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, Jones runs the football with patience and an explosive burst. He feels his ability to break tackles is among his biggest strengths of the moment, but he wants to get faster, more explosive and become a better route runner.
