Jacobs earned the NFL’s rushing championship in his fourth season with the Las Vegas Raiders. As a first-round pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, he led all backs with 1,653 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 340 carries. He recorded six 100+ yard rushing performances, including a career-high 229 yards rushing with two scores in a 40-34 victory for the Raiders against Seattle.
Jacobs also caught 53 passes for 400 yards receiving. He’s totaled 1,000+ yards from scrimmage in all four years in the league; however, the Raiders did not pick up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract. The 5-foot-10, 220-pounder made his second NFL Pro Bowl and earned All-Pro first-team honors. Jacobs captured the FedEx Ground Player of the Year award after his career season. He joins former Alabama running back, Derrick Henry in winning the honor. Henry won it twice in 2019 and 2020.
Jacobs showed off the award on Good Morning Football.
