Aeryn Hampton released his top seven schools Wednesday via Twitter.
Hampton attends Daingerfield High School in Texas, and he garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites. Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon, Michigan and Nebraska are in Hampton’s top seven.
The Crimson Tide hosted the 2024 recruit last month for one of its junior-day events. Before the visit, he told Touchdown Alabama he felt the Crimson Tide were WRU, and he had built a good relationship with Alabama’s wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins.
“I love it,” said Hampton. “I love the tradition and everything about it. I have a great relationship with coach Wiggins. We talk probably like once a week.”

Hampton has flashed on both sides of the football with his speed and effort at 5-foot-10 and approximately 175 pounds. He was an exciting playmaker to watch at wide receiver as a junior, pulling in 55 receptions for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns.
