Jalen Hurts created a heartfelt moment with a 15-year-old reporter after a tough loss in the Super Bowl Sunday.
Giovanni Hamilton, a 15-year-old reporter and host of the Giovanni show, was able to ask Hurts the last question during his media availability after the Super Bowl. Hamilton asked Hurts, “What is one lesson that you learned from this game that you will take on to the next?”
Hurts responded with a powerful quote.
“Man, I think you want to cherish these moments,” Hurts said. “You want to cherish these moments with the people that you have come so far with, your family, your loved ones, your teammates, superiors, everyone that you do it with and do it for. I am so proud of this team. I will say I am so proud of this team for everything that we have been able to overcome. Obviously, we had a big-time goal in the end that we wanted to accomplish, and we came up short. I think the beautiful part about it is everyone experiences different pains, everyone experiences different agonies of life, but you decide if you want to learn from it.
You decide if you want to use that to be a teachable moment. I know what I will do.”
