How loyal will the Chicago Bears be to Justin Fields?
As talks heat up about Bryce Young of Alabama football being the No. 1 overall pick in April’s NFL Draft, the Bears’ belief in Fields will be tested. Todd McShay, an ESPN NFL Draft expert, joined Get Up and made a case for Chicago to use the No. 1 pick on Young to set up for the future. He has four quarterbacks going in the first round, but McShay said Young is ‘different.’

“Bryce Young is a smaller version of Patrick Mahomes,” McShay said Thursday. “The presence he has in the pocket, the ability to feel pressure coming, the ability to see the whole field and make all the throws with good touch and timing … he is different from these other guys. I would take Bryce Young if I was Chicago. I would do it because I would want Bryce Young. He is an upgrade over Justin Fields, and I want his rookie contract so I would have five years.”

The NFL media is in love with the former Crimson Tide quarterback.
ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky compared Young to four-time NBA Champion, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Mike Tannenbaum, a former NFL executive, has been adamant about the Bears needing to take Young with the No. 1 pick.
Mel Kiper Jr., a draft expert at ESPN, said Young is the ‘best processor’ he’s ever seen in his history of scouting for the draft.
Young became the first signal-caller in Alabama football history to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy. He will create much excitement in the National Football League after doing it in two years as a starter for the Tide. We will see what Chicago does, but Young’s name is creating buzz for the organization.
