Josiah Abdullah

Josiah Abdulla earned an offer from Alabama last month and visited the Crimson Tide soon after.

Abdullah is a sophomore at Woodward Academy in Georgia, and he holds 45 Division one offers, including offers from Texas A&M, LSU and Florida.

The Crimson Tide became the 41st program to offer Abdullah in January. He visited Alabama for junior day, and the Georgia product said it was a good visit.

“It was amazing,” Abdullah said. “Everything went smooth, loved how the standard was excellence in all aspects. It is an excellent program, very consistent, lots of tradition with outstanding academics and is great with developing and preparing their guys for the NFL.”

Abdullah got an opportunity to meet Nick Saban during his visit, and the 2025 recruit feels he got an opportunity to learn more about the program from Saban during his visit.

“He is an exceptional coach and being able to know more about his program and the excellence he expects from his players was great,” said Abdullah.

At 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, Abdullah feels he is good at getting in and out of breaks before and after getting the ball and being elusive while running and running routes. He wants to improve in one particular area of his game.

“One thing I can touch up on a little bit is tempo,”said Abdullah. “I am excited to improve in that area of my game.”
