SEC Media Days schedule released

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey speaks at 2021 media days

For the first time ever, the 2022 SEC football Media days will be held in Nashville, Tennessee July 17-20. The announcement was made on Thursday.

The SEC Media Days are the unofficial start to the college football season and give fans a chance to hear their coaches speak on the upcoming season. This year Mississippi State, and Auburn will debut their new coaching hires, Zach Arnett and Hugh Freeze. From top to bottom, the conference has a lot of well-respected coaches that have had successful careers.

Alabama football’s head coach Nick Saban is scheduled to speak Wednesday, July 19. Saban speaking will be highly anticipated given the several moves he has made to his coaching staff since the 2022 season ended. The Crimson Tide have replaced both offensive and defensive coordinators and added an inside linebackers coach. Alabama football had what some considered to be a “letdown” year after the team finished with an 11-2 record and a 25-point bowl win over Kansas State.
