An Alabama offensive lineman is ready to show the nation in the fall he is one of the best tackles in the country.
JC Latham, a former five-star in the 2021 class, had a strong sophomore season as a first-year starter. He did more than hold his own at right tackle, pacing the Crimson Tide to the nation’s No. 4 scoring offense (41.1 ppg) and No. 11 total offense (477.1 ypg).

The Wisconsin native posted an imposing 29 knockdown blocks while allowing two sacks. Latham cleared the way for five 100-yard rushing performances, including one from quarterback Bryce Young. He assisted Young to a second straight 3,000-yard (3,328) passing season. The 6-foot-6, 326-pounder anchored the Crimson Tide’s offensive unit to an Allstate Sugar Bowl victory and 11 wins in 2022, but he’s hungry for more. Latham enters his junior season next fall, and NFL scouts will dissect his skills.
He may transition to left tackle for the Tide. Latham shared an exciting hype video to Instagram as fans are ready to see what he does upfront in returning the intensity to Alabama’s rushing attack.
