The Rock compliments A.J. McCarron after leading comeback in XFL debut

XFL commissioner Dwayne The Rock Johnson tweeted out a heartfelt clip after former Alabama quarterback, A.J. McCarron led an impressive 18-15 comeback win against the San Antonio Brahmas Sunday.

Johnson tweeted out a lip from the post-game interview that featured McCaron and his two kids celebrating.

In the tweet, Johnson brought up the importance of family stating that the game “Always cuts deeper when we can identify our “why” we do what we do.”Hug ‘em tight – they’re our “why”, said Johnson.

This is what the XFL is all about.

The rock has three kids of his own, Simone, 21, Jasmine, 7, and Tiana, 4.

McCarron in the Battlehawks will hit the road this Thursday to face off against the Seattle Sea Dragons at 8:00 PM CST.
