Daniel Calhoun is one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2024 recruiting class, and he is a top target for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Calhoun attends Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia, and he garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. He has four official visits locked in for the summer. The four-star recruit will have a busy June.
“Georgia the first week, Alabama the second week, Tennessee the third week and then Texas the last week,” Calhoun told Touchdown Alabama at the Under Armour Next Camp in Atlanta.
Alabama will get Calhoun on campus for an official visit on the weekend of June 10.
The Tide have hosted the Georgia product multiple times since offering him. He has managed to build a solid relationship with the Tide’s staff during those visits and through their constant contact.
“It is really close,” Calhoun said when discussing his relationship with Alabama. Me, coach Wolf and coach T-Rob, we really talk a lot.”
Georgia will get Calhoun’s busy June started by hosting him for an official visit. The reigning back-to-back National Champions are attempting to keep the 6-foot-6 tackle home.
“It is really cool,” said Calhoun about his relationship with Georgia. “We talk once a week.”
Calhoun will have four of his official visits out of the way by the end of June. He is looking to commit before the upcoming school year. The 2024 recruit knows what he is going to look for in a home in the future.
“I am going to look at the players, coaches, just like the environment really, and people around the campus,” said Calhoun.
Alabama’s coaching staff are not the only ones recruiting Calhoun to the Tide. Sterling Dixon, Alabama’s linebacker commit, is also working on recruiting for the rising senior.
