Jac’Qawn McRoy dropped his top ten earlier this month, and it was loaded with top programs.
McRoy attends Clay-Chalkville High School in Alabama. He garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites. Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Oregon and Tennessee make up his top ten.
“I feel like I really had every school that was really recruiting me, and I really wanted to show some loyalty,” McRoy said about his top ten.
Clemson is not listed in McRoy’s top ten, but the Tigers are showing him a lot of love after recently offering him. He is looking forward to learning more about the Tigers.
“I am going to go out there and see what they are talking about,” McRoy said. “Hopefully, it was not too late of an offer because everybody else had already been there.”
Arkansas is one of the programs who have shown McRoy the most consistent love. He has an official visit to see the Razorbacks in the works. The entire Arkansas staff is pushing for the Alabama product.
“It is amazing,” McRoy said when discussing his relationship with Arkansas’ staff. “I talk to all the coaches, including the head coach. I talk to everybody there.”
The 6-foot-8 lineman wants to make a decision before his senior season.
“The factor I am going to weigh in my mind is where I am going to be happy because my major is really everywhere,” said McRoy.
It was a dominant day for McRoy at the Under Armour Next Camp in Atlanta Sunday. He won all his one-on-one reps and earned an invite to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.
