Alabama offer ‘means a lot’ to 4-Star WR Cameron Coleman

Cameron Coleman

Cameron Coleman earned an offer from Alabama in January, continuing the steady growth of his recruitment.

Coleman attends Central Phenix City High School, which has produced multiple wide receiver recruits in recent years. He is listed as a four-star recruit on multiple recruiting sites. The junior feels his offer from Alabama is special.

“It means a lot,” Coleman told Touchdown Alabama. “It means they see the potential in me. They think I am a pretty decent receiver. They see the potential in me and I appreciate that. They are a great school. Coach Saban and their wide receiver coach produce great receivers that develop into pretty good receivers in NFL, top picks every year. They are a good program, overall.”

Coleman is listed at 6-foot-3 and 177 pounds. His length and advanced route-running skills have top college programs highly interested in him.

The Central Phenix City product put his skills on display Sunday at the Under Armour Next Camp in Atlanta. He was a tough cover throughout the day with his length and ability to stretch the field.

Alabama football likes multiple parts of his game.

“They like my speed, size, my hands my ability to high-point the football and my blocking,” said Coleman.

Coleman is looking to take some visits this spring, but he does not have any locked in at the moment. He does not have a decision time frame, but he is thinking about taking some official visits during the summer.
