We have arrived at NFL Scouting Combine week.
Thirteen alums from the University of Alabama look to increase their NFL Draft value and impress pro teams at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. The on-field positional workouts will be from March 2-5. Bryce Young, Alabama’s former quarterback, could become the first signal-caller and possibly the No. 1 overall selection in the upcoming draft.

He was the first Crimson Tide quarterback to capture the Heisman Memorial Trophy, winning the honor as a sophomore in 2021.
Young totaled a single-season school record of 4,872 passing yards, 47 passing touchdowns, and 50 total touchdowns. He led Alabama to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
The 6-foot, 194-pounder recorded 8,356 passing yards, 80 passing touchdowns, and 87 total touchdowns in three seasons.
He finished second all-time in school history for all three categories. Young was a two-time team captain and the Tide’s Most Valuable Player in 2021. NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelisserro report that Young will not throw at the NFL Combine.
Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud will throw at this week’s NFL Scouting Combine, while Alabama QB Bryce Young will wait to do so for his pro day, sources tell me and @TomPelissero.
Young is long past his AC joint injury from this season, but he’ll just do interviews in Indy.

He suffered a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder during the college football regular season, but he has healed from it.
The California native will focus on interviews in Indianapolis and save his workout for Alabama’s Pro Day.
NFL Network will have the coverage from the combine.
