Antwann Hill wrapped his junior day visit to Alabama with an offer from the Crimson Tide.
Hill is a four-star recruit out of Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. He holds more than 20 Division 1 offers, and he is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the 2025 recruiting class.
Alabama’s new offensive coordinator Tommy Rees informed Hill of his offer.
“Me and coach Rees sat down in the quarterback meeting room and started talking some ball,” Hill told Touchdown Alabama. “He asked me how my recruiting process is and was like “well I want to start building a relationship more with you, and I want to offer you a scholarship to the University of Alabama.”
Reese’s statement left Hill feeling thankful for the position he is in.
“I was amazed, just seeing all of the hard work and just me having a great season, just showing that God is really putting his hands on me and blessing me and just to see all my hard work paying off, I am just grateful for this opportunity,” said Hill.
The Georgia product feels the standard Nick Saban has in place at UA stands out to him.
“Just the culture of Alabama and just coach Saban’s presence and coaching style,” said Hill. “From coaching first-round quarterbacks and knowing what quarterbacks have to do and what it takes to get to the league.”
At 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds, Hill threw for 3,663 passing yards and 40 touchdowns while only throwing three interceptions as a sophomore. The new Alabama target displayed the ability to thread the needle and go over the top with a nice touch on his deep ball as a sophomore.
