Hoover High School’s junior linebacker, Bradley Shaw visited Alabama Saturday for the first time since picking up an offer from Tide in January.
Shaw is a four-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting class. He holds more than 20 D1 offers, including offers from Alabama, Auburn and Florida.
Shaw’s recruitment has steadily grown over the last several months. His most recent offers have come from Alabama, Standford, Notre Dame and Florida. The Hoover product was in Tuscaloosa for Alabama’s most recent junior day, which included meeting Nick Saban.
“It was really cool,” Shaw said. “It was great to meet and get to talk with him.”
Shaw also got an opportunity to tour Alabama’s facilities.
“Their facilities were top tier, and they told us about making a completely new locker room,” said Shaw. “They provide everything for their players to make sure they have opportunities to make themselves better.”
With plenty of other programs in the mix for him, Shaw has Alabama among the top group.
“They are toward the top,” Shaw said.
The four-star recruit does not have a decision timeline in mind. He is working on mapping out the future of his recruitment.
At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, Shaw’s ability to read and react was on full display during the 2022 football season. He feels his ‘instincts’ are one of his biggest strengths at the moment, but he is working to improve the use of his ‘hands.’
