King says Bears’ general manager Ryan Poles is behind Justin Fields as the starting quarterback.

Poles wants to collect more draft picks to put talent around Fields. His decision opens the door for another team to select Young. Several teams in the top 10, including Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Carolina, are desperate for a starting quarterback. The five programs mentioned are willing to trade with the Bears to get its quarterback of the future.

Young enjoyed his meeting with the Texans at the NFL Combine, and the Colts have expressed interest in him.

After he weighed in at over 200 pounds (204), people are starting to feel better about his size.

He totaled 8,200 passing yards and 79 passing touchdowns in two years as a starter for the Crimson Tide. Young became the first signal-caller in Tide history to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy in 2021. He accomplished several things in college, including a single-season school record for passing yards (4,872), touchdown passes (47), and total touchdowns (50) in 2021.

We will see who makes the move to get the No. 1 pick from the Bears.
