Blake Sims named offensive coordinator at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy

Blake Sims throws a pass versus Missouri in 2014 SEC Championship Game

Former Alabama quarterback, Blake Sims announced Friday he is the new quarterback’s coach and offensive coordinator at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy.

Sims played at Alabama from 2011 to 2014. He started for the Crimson Tide during the 2014 football season, leading Alabama to an SEC Championship and its first appearance in the College Football Playoffs. The Georgia native went on to have stints in the CFL, NFL and the Alliance of American Football before deciding to put on his coaching hat.

The former Alabama quarterback will have an opportunity to put his offensive expertise on display in his new role.
