Alabama football’s redshirt sophomore, Jalen Milroe was spotted taking snaps with Alabama football’s first-team offense Monday during the Crimson Tide’s first spring practice session.

Milroe is one of the signal-callers expected to compete for Alabama’s starting quarterback position this spring and upcoming fall. He returns to Alabama as its most experienced quarterback.

The former four-star recruit played in eight games for the Tide last season. He started against Texas A&M, leading Alabama to a win. Milroe finished the year with 297 passing yards, 265 rushing yards, five passing touchdowns and one rushing score.
