Ja’Michael Jones continued his quick rise to become a national recruit Wednesday by earning an offer from Nick Saban and Alabama football.
Jones attends Trinity Presbyterian School in Montgomery, Alabama, and he is a member of the 2026 recruiting class. The Crimson Tide is the 12th D1 program to offer the freshman, joining Georgia, USC and others.
Nick Saban informed Jones of his offer from the Tide during the 2026 recruit’s visit to Tuscaloosa.
“Saban invited me to his office, and he told me some good things he seen from me on my film and told me I have the opportunity to play ‘here.’ I felt very good that I got offered from Alabama, but I mainly knew that I had to continue to work hard.”
Jones went on to give his thoughts about Saban and the Alabama football program as a whole.
“I like that Saban wants all his players to be successful and be good on and off the field,” said Jones. “I like the program. The players make each other better every day.”
At 5-foot-11, Jones runs the football with patience and an explosive burst. He feels his ability to break tackles is among his biggest strengths at the moment, but he wants to get faster, more explosive and become a better route runner.
