After one season at the University of Alabama as a transfer and successful performances at the NFL Scouting Combine and Alabama’s Pro Day, Jahmyr Gibbs has first-round pick status in his bank.
He clocked a 4.36 time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine and followed up with displaying burst, explosiveness, hands, and vision during his workout Thursday. Gibbs caught the attention of ESPN NFL analyst Louis Riddick at the Crimson Tide’s indoor facility. Riddick says Gibbs is ‘going to be fire at the next level.’ The native Georgian was Alabama’s leader for receptions (44) last season for 444 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 926 yards rushing and seven scores.
