Nick Saban hilariously jokes about Jay Bilas ruining his bracket with terrible advice

Alabama head coach Nick Saban looks onto the field during the Crimson Tide's matchup against Texas A&M for 2022.

He is a seven-time national championship college football coach, but Nick Saban is a huge basketball fan.

Saban supported Nate Oats and the season Alabama men’s basketball had, despite it falling to San Diego State in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. He loves to win championships on the gridiron, but Saban also enjoys being the smartest person in the room when filling out an NCAA Tournament bracket. He hilariously joked about ESPN College Basketball analyst, Jay Bilas giving him terrible advice and ruining his bracket. Saban mentioned this to national media during Alabama’s Pro Day.

Bilas returned the joke to Saban by telling him, “don’t listen to the rat poison.”

All the No. 1 seeds have lost in this year’s tournament. Saban will have to wait until next year to have a better bracket.
