Caleb Cunningham snagged an Alabama offer from Nick Saban Friday during an unofficial visit.
Cunningham attends Choctaw County High School in Ackerman, Mississippi. He garners a five-star rating or is considered to be among the top five wide receivers in the 2025 recruiting class by multiple recruiting sites. The Mississippi product now holds 15 D1 offers with his recent offer from Alabama.
Earning an opportunity to play for Alabama football in the future felt unbelievable to Cunningham.
“I talked to Nick Saban in his office, and he offered,” Cunningham told Touchdown Alabama. “It felt so unreal. He said he watched my film, and he liked it. He was telling me to always be the best you can be, and I was really impressed about the graduation rate.”
The 2025 recruit went on to give his thoughts on the Alabama program as a whole.
“They have a great coaching staff,” Cunningham said. “They produce athletes to the NFL in every position, mostly every year. Their campus is very nice, and they do a very good job with their academics. They use their receivers really well. They work really hard, and they will have a receiver that will go to the NFL every year.
At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, the sophomore is an athletic prospect with a big frame, who can run. He is a tough cover for every high school corner with his speed, size and ability to go up and get the football out of the air.
