Young and C.J. Stroud of Ohio State are in a race to see who gets drafted first. As a former five-star, Young tossed for 8,200 passing yards and 79 passing touchdowns in two years as a starter. He led the Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a College Football Playoff National Championship Game appearance in 2021. Young set a single-season school record for passing yards (4,872), passing touchdowns (47), and total touchdowns (50) in 2021, becoming the first Alabama quarterback to capture the Heisman Memorial Trophy.
