Meeting Nick Saban felt like a dream to 4 Star OL William Satterwhite

William Satterwhite visited Alabama football Monday for the first time since earning an offer from the Crimson Tide.

Satterwhite is a junior at Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio, and he is rated as a four-star recruit on most recruiting sites. The Ohio product is closing in more than 30 offers with a recent offer from Georgia.

Satterwhite’s visit to Alabama earlier this week gave him an opportunity to get a good feel for the program.

“It was great,” Satterwhite told Touchdown Alabama. “I got to see all the facilities, meet with the academic people and see the college of engineering, had a photo shoot, watch practice and see the stadium.”

Nick Saban met with the junior during his visit, and it was one of the highlight of Satterwhite’s visit.

“It was like being in a dream,” Satterwhite said.  “He is a college football legend.”

At 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, Satterwhite lined up at tackle and guard during the 2022 season. He showed an ability to get to the second level when run blocking and looked comfortable in pass protection. Alabama’s offensive line coach Eric Wolford praised his footwork when offering him.
