Casey Poe announced Friday he will return to Tuscaloosa and visit Alabama football this weekend.

Poe is a 2024 four-star offensive lineman out of Lindale High School in Texas. He plans to be at the University of Alabama Saturday.

Alabama offered Poe in November and has remained in heavy contact with him. Nick Saban came to Texas to check in on the four-star in January.

“It has been great,” Poe told Touchdown Alabama. “We are talking on the phone multiple times a week. Coach Saban stopped by the school the other day. I think that is the second day someone has been on campus. I speak the most probably with coach Wolford. We text multiple times a week about different things.”“It has been great,” Poe told Touchdown Alabama. “We are talking on the phone multiple times a week. At 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, Poe is a multi-sport athlete. He has experience playing tackle and guard. Wolford previously told Poe he feels he is one of the top offensive linemen in the 2024 recruiting class.

“He said that he thought I was one of the top guys in my class,” said Poe. “Then he explained the extensive recruiting process that takes place at Alabama, leading to an offer.”
