The Carolina Panthers could dominate the NFC South for over a decade and potentially win a Super Bowl if it makes the right decision with the first overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, and Anthony Richardson are the quarterbacks in consideration for Carolina.

Frank Reich, the head coach of the Panthers sees greatness in all three. Richardson is an athletic specimen, Stroud had a great season in 2022 for Ohio State, and Young has been nothing but remarkable at Alabama. Dan Orlovsky, an NFL analyst for ESPN, believes Carolina must select Young with the No. 1 overall pick. As a former NFL quarterback, Orlovsky compares Young to Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals. Burrow was the No. 1 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

“If you are Carolina, you take Bryce Young,” Orlovsky said.
“You live with a little regret for not taking Anthony Richardson because of what he potentially becomes, but you take Young. You take Young because the No. 1 thing you need to have as a quarterback to become great over time in the NFL is what do you do with the ball in moments of panic? What do you do with the football in moments of panic? Bryce Young is the best at it. He is the best since Joe Burrow. Bryce is a combination of Steph Curry where everything around him is moving so fast but it’s not to him plus Joe Burrow. Don’t panic with the football, and that’s the difference between him and the other guys in this class.”
Young made things happen for Alabama’s offense in two years as a starter.
He became the first Crimson Tide quarterback to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy in 2021. The California native earned a College Football Playoff National Championship ring as a freshman in 2020. He set the school’s single-season record for passing yards (4,872), passing touchdowns (47), and total touchdowns (50) in 2021. Young ranks second all-time for career passing yards (8,356), passing touchdowns (80), and total scores (87). Carolina would have a superstar if it takes Young with the No. 1 pick.
