Mac Jones delights local Boys and Girl’s Club kids by throwing passes

Mac Jones (#10) drops back to pass for New England in 2022 matchup against Chicago Bears
Paul Rutherford - USA Today Sports

A lot of conversations have involved him being shopped to other teams, but Mac Jones has not paid attention to it.

Before he enters his third season with the New England Patriots, the former Alabama quarterback delighted children at the local Boys and Girl’s Club by throwing passes to them. He brought a lot of smiles into the room. Jones is a fun-loving individual at heart, especially when it comes to the kids. The children had a blast at Metro South in Brockton.

Jones had a great rookie season for the Patriots, but the offensive struggles last year were not his fault. New England had a defensive mind (Matt Patricia) and special teams coach (Joe Judge) calling offensive plays and coaching quarterbacks.

Jones was frustrated at times, but the former first-round pick has an offensive mind now in Bill O’Brien.

It will be interesting to see how Jones does in year three with the Patriots.
