Alabama’s defense in 2015 was one of the best of the Nick Saban era and part of the reason why is how the group held each other accountable.

But there was one instance where it may have gotten a little close to going overboard.

Former Crimson Tide cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who was a key starter on the national championship-winning defense, shared the hilarious story of how the group threatened to “jump” him for his performance in practice.

Humphrey detailed on social media that his poor practices came leading up to Alabama’s highly anticipated game against LSU and star running back Leonard Fournette who was considered to be the best player in the country at the time.

Luckily for Humphrey, he was able to get things sorted out and the team produced one of its best games of the season.
