Jackson is a product of Tyler Legacy High School in Texas, and he holds 12 D1 offers. The Texas product garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. Alabama becomes the second SEC program to offer Jackson.
Alabama’s wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins informed Jackson of his offer from the Tide.
“I got told over the phone and when he told me I was happy and shocked,” Jackson told Touchdown Alabama.
Jackson went on to give his thoughts about the Alabama program as a whole.
“It is amazing,” Jackson said. “They want to win and have a winning mentality.”
Alabama signed Jackson’s teammate, Jordan Renaud, during the 2023 recruiting cycle. The opportunity to play alongside Renaud again is something Jackson feels ‘would be cool’ since they ‘already have chemistry.’
Jackson is listed at 6-foot-4, and he plays with power and strength in the trenches. The junior also can turn and run to get after ball carries who have broke free with his ability to run a 4.62 forty-yard dash.
