Could the Carolina Panthers have their quarterback of the future?
Bryce Young has canceled his remaining NFL team visits. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports that Young is believed to be the No. 1 overall pick for Carolina. The Panthers saw Young at Alabama’s Pro Day and were impressed by his performance.
Alabama QB Bryce Young has canceled his remaining pre-draft visits, per sources — another sign to back up belief within the league that the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner will be the #Panthers’ pick at No. 1 overall.

Carolina has an offensive-minded head coach (Frank Reich) and several talented offensive pieces, but it needs a quarterback to take it next level. Young was a massive success in two years as a starter for Alabama.

He guided the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship in 2021 and set single-season school records. Young was a two-time team captain and a Heisman Memorial Trophy winner. If he is taken No. 1, Young would give Nick Saban his first-ever top pick in the common draft era.
