Alabama football fans are ready for A-Day, but the program received exciting news on Friday.
Eli Gold, the long-time voice of Alabama football for Crimson Tide Sports Network, has completed his cancer treatment.

A video got posted to social media of him ringing the bell, signaling his victory over cancer. Gold gave everyone a “Roll Tide!” as he prepares to return to the broadcast booth in the fall. Chris Stewart filled in admirably for Gold last season as the Crimson Tide finished 11-2 with a victory in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Alabama fans are thrilled to see Gold in good health again.
