In his first extended playing time, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson made a major highlight play in the first half of A-Day.
On third down Simpson evaded the rush and took things into his own hands using his legs to pick up the first down. But on the way to the sticks, the redshirt freshman displayed an impressive juke to get the necessary yards.

Simpson finished the game completing 12 of 26 passes for 155 yards while rushing for 58 yards while leading the Crimson team to a victory.
